Beginning with dismantling his mom's digital clock radio to see how it worked at age 8, Eric has dreamed of being a professional mad scientist. At age 15, he made his first Tesla coil, and ever since he's loved the combination of art and science.
Eric joined VML in 1994, and has designed and implemented many top companies' brand and digital presence. Additionally, for more than 25 years, he has helped guide the evolution of many brands to develop customer experiences both on and offline. Eric has led creative strategy and development across clients that include Microsoft, T-Mobile, Amazon and Intel.
His works has won numerous awards from Cannes Lions to the International Academy of Visual Arts, ADDYs, CA, W3, Print, Webbys and more.
Current clients include: Microsoft, Intel, NCBA, Mazda, Chevron, Driscoll's and Zespri.
Eric and his wife Rachel have raised five kids in Sammamish, four sons and a daughter. Two of their sons serve in the Marines and Army. Their daughter is a teacher in Redmond and she and her husband just had their first child. Their middle son is a chef with Ethan Stollwell and their youngest is in middle school.
